San Diego Comic Fest guest Ken Mitchroney

Ken Mitchroney’s film and television credits include director, live action director, head of story, director of photography, and storyboard artist on Storks, The Lego Movie, The Ant Bully, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, Mighty Magiswords, and more. His comic book work includes Ren & Stimpy, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures, Myth Conceptions, and Space Ark.

He has co-authored with Steven R. Boyett the science fiction novel “Fata Morgana.”

Mitchroney also is a voice actor. Among his roles are Evil Emperor Zurg in Disneyland’s Buzz Lightyear “Space Ranger Spin” ride and most recently Mr. Pachydermus and other characters in Cartoon Network’s “Mighty Magiswords” animated series.

He is an official Rat Fink artist for the Ed “Big Daddy” Roth estate, and is official illustrator for the Oakland Athletics. Previously he did the same for the Baltimore Orioles.

He is currently involved with the restoration of the Ward Kimball collection of locomotives at the Southern California Railway Museum in Perris, California.

Mitchroney has been a professional stock-car driver and pinstriper, and restores and runs vintage locomotives. He lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles.
