Phil Tippett

The San Diego Comic Fest is pleased to announce that Oscar-winning visual-effects pioneer Phil Tippett, winner of Academy Awards for Return of the Jedi and Jurassic Park and founder of leading visual-effects creators Tippett Studio, will be returning to the Fest this year. We’re looking forward to hearing more about his very-personal Mad God project. (Last year Phil successfully funded production of Mad God via Kickstarter, where he was able to raise over three times the amount he was seeking from 2,523 enthusiastic individual backers.)
