Hugo and Nebula Award-winning author Larry Niven is a legend in the field of science fiction. Among his many stories and novels are the Known Space series, which includes the epic Ringworld series of novels, the stories of The Draco Tavern, and his rational fantasy series, The Magic Goes Away. With the late, great science-fiction author Jerry Pournelle, he co-authored such best-selling novels as The Mote in God's Eye, Lucifer's Hammer, and Footfall. Larry also co-authored the Bowl of Heaven series of novels with this year's Science Fiction Guest of Honor, Gregory Benford. In the world of comics, Larry has written Green Lantern for DC. Also, a number of his stories have been adapted for comics or graphic novels.
