Eric Shanower is the award-winning cartoonist of Age of Bronze, a comics version of the Trojan War legend (Image Comics). He is the writer of Little Nemo: Return to Slumberland (IDW), a new comic book series based on Winsor McCay’s classic comic strip, with art by cartoonist Gabriel Rodriguez. He is the producer of the centennial return to San Diego of L. Frank Baum’s vintage stage musical The Tik-Tok Man of Oz. With cartoonist Skottie Young he is adapting L. Frank Baum’s Oz books to New York Times best-selling graphic novels (Marvel Comics). He is writing a new comic book series based on Winsor McCay’s classic comic strip Little Nemo in Slumberland (IDW). Shanower’s past comics work includes his own Oz graphic novel series, An Accidental Death written by Ed Brubaker, The Elsewhere Prince written by R-JM Lofficier and Moebius, and Harlan Ellison’s Dream Corridor. He has illustrated for magazines, television, and children’s books, two of which he wrote himself. He lives in San Diego.
