Here is Wendy All, so very happy at the entrance to the just-installed recreation of Café Frankenstein that was an outstanding part of San Diego Comic Fest 2012. Wendy did all of the art and decorations that recreated the work of artist and original Café Frankenstein co-owner Burt Shonberg.
For many attendees, our Café Frankenstein was the high point of the Fest and all agreed that Wendy had done a remarkable job in recreating Shonberg’s art and designing the look of our Café recreation.

The Cafe Frankenstein was a clever idea for the con, and a great venue for panels and entertainment, and reasonably-priced snacks. Nice design and vintage vibe. Hope this becomes a tradition.
I want to thank Wendy and everyone who made Comic Fest such a fun and energizing event. The panels were outstanding, honored guests an honor for me to meet, and I loved the Frankenstein Coffee Shop because we are all a little or a lot like the Frankenstein monster. I met a lot of new friends, like George Clayton Johnson and Ed Dorn and others who just made it all come together. Thank you all!
